My cat Divah (aka DiDi) ran away about 2 months ago. She was gone for a week (I think she ran away with her stray lover (gotta love a bad boy) that looks exactly like her, only more unloved and unclaimed for). She came back dusty, without her lovely leopard collar and purple name tag and also with fleas (!!) :-(... So, I got her some flea shampoo and we snuggled and I thought all was solved.

She's been scratching since then, but not too much... The other day, my kitty had scratched a spot under her jaw raw! She looked up and I was like "Oh, my God!!!" So, now I'm taking my cat to the vet tomorrow, but, I'm afraid they're gonna give me the stink eye for having the problem get to that point. I didn't see any fleas until recently and I thought all animals scratch. But, to think that I let my cat scratch herself to skin because of fleas makes me sad. I'm not a bad person, I promise. I'm also not a PETA person or a Pets R People Too chick but DiDi is like my friend and roommate.

So, I'm taking force. I got a flea bomb and other spray and stuff... oh and bleach. Me and DiDi will soon be flea free!!!
